Introduction: Dr. Brennen McKenzie

Very slick and exciting new website! Well done!

For those to whom I haven't already introduced myself, my name is Brennen McKenzie, and I'm a small animal veterinarian in private practice. I am also currently Chair of the Practitioner Committee here at the EBVMA. We are working on a couple of exciting projects, including taking a survey of practitioners regarding their awareness and attitudes about EBVM and populating the practitioner's area of this website with useful tools and information for implementing EBVM in day-to-day clinical practice.

I also have a blog and website of my own which might be of interest to some members.

At The SkeptVet Blog regularly post critiques of Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine (CAVM) practices, news analysis, opinion pieces, and skeptically-oriented humor for both veterinarians and the general public.

At The SkeptVet.Com I archive my longer, referenced articles on CAVM and scientific veterinary medical topics as well as downloadable client-education handouts.

I look forward to talking with more of you as we participate in the exciting and rapidly-evolving work of promoting  evidence-based veterinary medicine.
