Molly Crews, MLS

Regional Officer | Southern, United States (2023-2027)

Molly Crews, MLS, is a faculty librarian in the Small Animal Clinical Sciences Department at Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Her background in animal science and evidence-based medical librarianship provides a unique perspective in veterinary evidence-based medicine and research.  She is a dedicated advocate for EBVM, specializing in evidence synthesis, searching for veterinary information, and performing animal alternatives searches, as well as serving on her institution's IACUC. She is a past chair of the Animal and Veterinary Information Specialists caucus of the Medical Librarian Association. Her searching expertise in systematic reviews and animal alternatives supports more informed and ethical practices in veterinary medicine and research. Through collaboration and rigorous methodology, she strives to enhance the accessibility and application of high-quality evidence in the field. She has a long-haired calico named Pumpkin and a slightly cross-eyed black cat named Cobweb. 

EBVMA Member since 2023.  "I joined EBVMA to promote the informed use of veterinary information by leveraging my expertise in evidence synthesis and information retrieval."
