Connie White has had a varied practice career, ranging from equine ambulatory to small animal emergency/critical care to first opinion small animal practice. Prior to her career in veterinary medicine she worked in molecular genetics (PhD, Oregon State University). She became very interested in changing treatment patterns during her clinical career and acquired an MPH in biostatistics/epidemiology in 2015. She now teaches at Oregon State University Carlson College of veterinary medicine and works with the Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine as a research collaborator in evidence synthesis, education, and dissemination. Special interests include observational study design, diagnostic accuracy study design, and new drug evaluation, particularly as related to different regulatory regimes.
